The Goodwin Living Foundation Annual Fund is powered by donors from all four Goodwin Senior Living Campuses—Goodwin House Alexandria, Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads, The View Alexandria and Forest Hills of DC.
In turn, all gifts to the Annual Fund benefit residents and team members across all four communities, ensuring equal access to support, programs and opportunities no matter where they live or work.

Forest Hills of DC residents and team members are now fully eligible for all benefits funded by the Goodwin Living Foundation.
Resident Support & Security
Your donation helps ensure that residents who exhaust their financial resources through no fault of their own can continue to live with dignity, comfort and peace of mind. Our Resident Support Fund, which is fully funded by generous donors to the Goodwin Living Foundation, ensures that no resident will be asked to leave if they outlive their financial resources. This fund also supports residents who cannot afford certain medical expenses necessary to their care and wellbeing but not fully covered through Medicare,Medicaid or other insurance providers.
Team Member Support & Scholarships
Thanks to our community of generosity, the Goodwin Living Foundation also funds a variety of programs that uplift the lives of team members. Team members at Forest Hills of DC now have full access to Foundation-supported resources, including:
- Tuition assistance
- Student loan repayment for clinical positions
- ESL, citizenship and immigration assistance
- Emergency financial assistance grants
- And more!
