Forest Hills Assisted Living is truly an exceptional place, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. My beloved 98-year-old aunt recently passed away, and she was a resident here. I can honestly say she absolutely thrived at this facility, receiving nothing short of exceptional, personalized care until her final days. From the moment you step in, you feel the intimate, warm, and welcoming atmosphere that sets Forest Hills apart. The staff are simply outstanding – consistently friendly, patient, and incredibly responsive. This was especially evident and reassuring during the challenging times of the pandemic, when their strong safety protocols gave us immense peace of mind. It's no surprise that Forest Hills is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a 2023-2024 "Best" provider for Assisted Living and Nursing Home care. They offer a comprehensive range of services, including top-notch assisted living, specialized memory care, and skilled nursing, all delivered with a level of dedication that is truly commendable. Knowing my aunt was in such capable and caring hands made all the difference. Forest Hills provided not just a place to live, but a community where she was respected, cared for, and truly allowed to thrive. If you are looking for an assisted living community that combines personalized care with a genuine, heartfelt commitment to resident well-being, Forest Hills Assisted Living in Washington, D.C. is, without a doubt, the place to choose. They earned our family's trust and gratitude every single day.

My mother has been at Forest Hills for over a year, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have met such wonderful and caring people at Forest Hills. My mother has been very pleased with the way she was treated by nurses and staff, and we will always be grateful for your kindness and dedication to your residents. In fact, my mother even mentioned that she felt better cared for by the Forest Hills staff than by her own family members, and I am not surprised. I have witnessed the entire management team of Forest Hills staying in their offices overnight during snowstorms to ensure that residents are taken care of, even when staff cannot come to work due to snow emergencies. This is just one of many examples of your outstanding commitment. Thank you for doing such a great job and for your generosity and extraordinary care!
I appreciate the care she is getting, and the friendliness that she and I have encountered, and it is a family environment.

There are a few I would like to recognize. Alex is one of them. Olsa is a nurse there, and Vicky Parker. There is another one, but I can't remember her name, I think she is from Nigeria. Her name starts with and A. Another one is from Appel. Her name escapes me right now. When I send Genia a message, I make sure she follows through. There is a lot for them to do. There are things that fall through the cracks. (The resident) seems happy there. They are responsive and they take pictures of the residents and put them on the board. They took them to a baseball game, and it was quite special. I try to drop things off for the nurses too. It's not an easy job. The people in the kitchen, I like them and I understand the circumstances of their job and the shortage. Veronica is another nursing assistant. She is very good.

We brought my mother here when she was 90 because of dementia. We brought her to Forest Side. It was the inpatient assisted living with dementia. I looked at many facilities, and I wanted something close to where I live. I also wanted a place where she would be in lovely surroundings and treated with dignity. Forest Side fulfilled that. After she broke her hip, we had to put her in nursing care. It is a very different situation. Now it is essentially nursing care. They do a fine job of that. Because of COVID, the staff has changed dramatically. She is well cared for.
