Chef Gerald Bishop interview

by | Apr 26, 2022 | Health

In honor of celebrating Careers in Aging Services week, Forest Hills of DC would like to thank each one of their employees for choosing to serve their residents. As a 135+ year mission based, faith-based organization, focused on our elders, this is a time when we reflect on our values of Compassion, Respect and Sustainability. Forest Hills strive to create a sustainable workforce that serves the residents with compassion and respect.

Chef Gerald Bishop came to work at Forest Hills of DC after working as a Chef at the Ronald Reagan building (across the street from the Smithsonian) for 15 years. Covid closed the convention center and its fancy parties. Since Chef Gerald has come to us, his heart has found a new work home and he intends to stay with us permanently because of the purpose and connection he feels working with our residents.
