Dennis is a baseball lover, especially when he gets to see a no hitter! He is very kind-hearted and a great conversationalist. He has participated in the Forest Hills Longevity Fun Run event for the past four years. He helped open the assisted living gym here at Forest Hills during the COVID-19 pandemic. He used to work in the foreign service, so he spent most of his career outside of the United States.
Jacqueline has lived at Forest Hills for a little over a year and has been a DC resident for her entire life. She is creative, loves music, and has a good sense of humor. Before she retired, she worked as a social service worker at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and helped couples and families. “I liked that I was helping someone,” she says.
Cherie is the Forest Hills of DC Resident Council President. She is always up for an adventure and is generous beyond means. The best thing that has happened in her life so far is having two daughters. She enjoys living somewhere where she can be taken care of and likes that everyone is so nice. She is a creative person who has been doing art projects since she was in high school. “I paint and color a lot,” she says. “When it is someone’s birthday, I make them a card. I’ve made quite a few of them.”
