Compassionate Nursing

Ganiat is the Director of Nursing at Forest Hills of DC, where she has been on the team for more than two years. She has worked in elder care all her life and started as a certified nursing assistant. She appreciates that the leadership team here is reachable and approachable. “It’s a great place to work. It’s one of the most reputable senior living communities in the District of Columbia,” she says.

Crystal is the Administrator at Forest Hills, and she has been with the team since the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, in April 2020. Her favorite part of working at the community is connecting and spending time with the residents. She has been a registered nurse for 38 years and an administrator for the past eight years. “Tina Sandri has been great, that’s one reason why I’m an administrator, she says. “She said I had a knack for it.”

Romade is 68 years old and has worked here for three years as an LPN. He likes that the community is peaceful and that there are nice residents and staff. Taking care of residents is something he loves to do. He comes from a family of healthcare professionals. “I’m a hardworking and energetic person. When I’m not working, I don’t feel happy.”
