Yesterday was an historic and moving day for residents at Forest Hills of DC, as well as the D.C. community and our nation, as we watched the State Funeral of Former President Jimmy Carter.
WUSA9’s Katie Lusso captured heartfelt reflections and personal stories from residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation care. Many residents shared memories of President Carter’s election, and some even recounted personal encounters with the former president.
